Located in Ardèche Verte, also known as Haut Vivarais, we're on a plateau overlooking the Rhône valley, with a breathtaking view of the Alps. The countryside setting is peaceful and full of charm. Annonay, the nearest city, is 10 km away and has a rich history that can be seen in its Museums and streets. The Safari Parc de Peaugres, about half an hour's drive away, is a pleasant place to wander among the many free-roaming animals, while a visit to the Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval in the Rhône valley will surprise you with its originality.
For those attracted by the sacred, a number of churches, consecrated or not, are nearby: Notre Dame d'Ay, Quintenas, La Louvesc, Veyrines, Saint Symphorien de Mahun, Champagne, Vion, etc... For walkers, signposted Hiking trails surround the estate, while the roads of the Ardèche are popular with cyclists.
For wine lovers, the region is renowned for its Coteaux de St Joseph, among other wines.
Many other places and activities remain to be discovered, while the villages of Saint Romain d'Ay and Quintenas offer a wide range of local shops.
