In the heart of the southern Ardèche and just a stone's throw from the magnificent Cirque de Gens, come and enjoy this beautiful, comfortable villa overlooking the Ardèche. You'll spend a 100% relaxing holiday discovering the wonderful villages of character. And take to the famous footpath (or mountain bike trail) to admire the cliffs of Chauzon. Just 4kms from Ruoms, you'll find all the shops and services you need.
Villa Douceur du Sud is a charming, tastefully decorated, detached house on 2 levels. The grounds are fully fenced. You'll find a small courtyard with a carport as you enter. On the other side, the garden is well landscaped and decorated with succulents (caution for very young Kids). You'll be delighted by the various terraces, either for a more relaxing atmosphere with a bubbling Spa, or for barbecues with friends and family. The large, unoverlooked swimming pool (9x5m), open from May to September depending on the weather, is perfect for cooling off and relaxing. Inside the house, you'll find a warm and inviting living room with TV and sitting area. The kitchen is fully equipped, just like at home. A veranda provides a second covered dining area. On the first floor, you'll also find a laundry room and a shared bathroom with shower and toilet. All bedrooms have TVs and en-suite shower rooms with large showers and WCs. Bathrobes are also provided. The 1st bedroom is on the first floor and has a 180cm bed (convertible into 2 beds on request). The other two are upstairs, with a 160cm bed and dressing area. The beds are made on arrival, and towels and pool towels are provided. Heated and cooled floors. Upstairs Sports hall and infrared sauna.

Guillaume et Valérie Superbe séjour à "Douceur du sud"
Nous avons passé avec nos 2 enfants, quelques jours dans ce gîte. Il est fidèle au descriptif, voire va au-delà ! A notre arrivée, nous avons été très bien accueillis et la maison était extrêmement propre. Elle est très bien équipée : il ne manque rien. Le jardin, la piscine et le spa sont parfaitement entretenus. La piscine sécurisée est un vrai plus. La maison et son extérieur sont très agréables. La région est superbe, avec beaucoup de choses à faire. Nous recommandons ce gîte et y retournerons avec plaisir.

Petra Super!!
Une villa décorée avec goût et dotée de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Tout est parfaitement propre, les salles d’eaux sont jolies et pratiques, la cuisine est aussi bien équipée que chez soi.
La piscine est parfaitement entretenue et il y a des coins et des recoins dans le jardin et sur les terrasses où il est agréable de s'attarder. Le jacuzzi était un atout supplémentaire.

Nous avons tout apprécié dans ce gîte, les propriétaires sont absolument adorables, l’emplacement est parfait, et comble du plaisir : la piscine est parfaitement entretenue (traitement parfaitement maitrisé)
J’ajoute que le jardin est une excursion à lui seul.
