At the foot of an ancient volcano, Elsa and André are delighted to welcome you to Domaine du Clap, a 15th-century château that is constantly being improved.
This family home has been owned by the DELON family since 1812. It is located in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Park. The bed and breakfast has been renovated using natural, environmentally-friendly materials.
The wood-fired boiler and thermal and photovoltaic solar panels ensure partial energy autonomy and low environmental impact.
New in 2025 ;2 electrically-assisted bicycles are available for hire, €20 a day.
Car-free stay possible; we pick you up in Privas at the bus stop (direct link between Valence TGV and Privas).
5 spacious rooms for 2 to 4 people, each with private bathroom and toilet. The Cocon room has independent access and a private 25 m2 terrace.
minimum stay 2 nights. (4 DAYS MINIMUM in HIGH SEASON)
Table d'hôtes only on reservation 24 hours in advance. Table d'hôte on certain evenings depending on the chef's mood and the number of guests (4 minimum). Dishes cooked by us come from our large pesticide-free garden and local livestock. (Le Bouchon qui chante is a very good restaurant just 5 minutes away). Breakfasts taken in the garden according to the season.
Table d'hôte: Aperitif and toast, starter, main course, local cheese, dessert and Ardéchois wine included.
Adult meal: 28 euros
Kids meal under 12: 14 euros
New!... a 90-square-meter room with a superb chestnut wood floor is available to organize dance, singing or other workshops, a grand piano can also accompany your workshops, and a shared kitchen is available for your workshops...

Room: Cocon
The Cocoon Room is located in a wing of the Château with private, independent access. Very bright with its bay window, it has a queen-size bed 160 x 200 cm, a TV and wifi. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a towel dryer. The private WC is separate from the shower room. This room also features an exclusive 25m2 terrace with garden furniture and 2 sun loungers for relaxing. A refrigerator, kettle and espresso machine are also available.

Accueil chaleureux et hote très disponible.
Nous avons profité de la table d'hotes avec plaisir et satisfaction, le diner étant organisé avec des produits locaux.
Egalement les petits déjeuners étaient copieux et bien savoureux.

Nous avons dérangé des habitants de ce domaine.
Je pense que sur certaines portes, il manque juste une petite information.. " privé".
Et peut-être, un petit nom aux chambres..

Belle demeure, chambre spacieuse et propre, literie confortable.

chrys un séjour parfait
notre séjour à été des plus agréables dans ce domaine d'exception du Clap. L'accueil de notre hôte a été parfait, tout comme les prestations offertes durant notre séjour. nous avons logé dans une chambre avec terrasse attenante, qui a été bien utilisée pour profiter du beau soleil dont nous avons bénéficié. La propreté de la chambre, le confort de la literie, la salle de bain très bien agencée. Il n'y a que des points positifs et agréables à relever. Les petits déjeuner ( tout est fait maison!) ainsi que le repas en table d'hôte nous ont laissé de savoureux souvenirs. C'est un site parfait pour se ressourcer, faire de belles balades dans une magnifique région.
