On the Coiron volcanic plateau, between Privas and the Lower Ardèche, the “Chez Susanna” holiday cottage welcomes you to a pristine setting where nature, tranquility, and wide-open spaces come together every day. Set within the family’s organic farm (Ferme Basset), enjoy a stay surrounded by animals: cows, sheep, goats, horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens, and dogs are a constant part of life on the property.

Adjacent to the owners’ home yet featuring a separate entrance, the holiday cottage offers a spacious, bright living area with beautiful exposed beams and high ceilings. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, and a living area with a sofa and TV. A mezzanine converted into a play area for kids also features a 140 cm bed. On the ground floor, two bedrooms complete the accommodation: one with a 140 cm bed and the other with two 90 cm beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, and the toilet is separate.

Outside, enjoy a private terrace for meals and relaxation in this rural setting. Depending on the season, you can also purchase farm-fresh products directly from the farm: eggs, charcuterie, veal and lamb, as well as garlic.

Around the holiday cottage, explore the volcanic landscapes of Coiron, perfect for hiking, nature lovers, and wildlife watching. Just 15 minutes away, Privas offers shops, restaurants, and plenty of recreational activities.

Committed to the environment, the farm is heated with wood from the property and generates part of its electricity through solar power. Sheets included. Towels and cleaning services available as an option. Electric vehicle charging station available.
