Stay in a veritable cocoon in the heart of the Ardèche, where charm, nature and tranquility come together for a gentle vacation.

Situated in the commune of Desaignes, in a quiet hamlet in the Countryside, this Holiday cottage has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Semi-detached from the owners' house, it has 2 levels.

On the ground floor, the living room features a fully-equipped kitchenette and a convivial dining area, ideal for preparing and sharing meals, perhaps with local produce. A comfortable bedroom with a 140cm bed and a shower room with walk-in shower and WC complete this level. Upstairs, a cosy chalet-style living room offers an unobstructed view of the Ardèche landscape, and is the perfect place to relax, read or watch a film. The second bedroom is also on this floor, with a 180cm bed. A second bathroom with shower and WC completes the layout. Bed linen and towels provided, and a shared washing machine.

Outside, a pleasant private area awaits you under the lime tree, with garden furniture and deckchairs. The view is soothing, and the immediate surroundings invite you to discover the flora and fauna, and to enjoy beautiful walks in the Countryside.

Just five minutes away, the medieval village of Desaignes, classified as a Village de Caractère, offers a lively local life with events such as the "La Voie Romaine" trail in spring, the medieval festival in August and the castagnades in autumn. Local shops and craftsmen are present all year round. You can also take advantage of your stay to discover the Doux valley and its tourist train, explore the Saint-Agrève countryside or relax at Lake Devesset, where swimming, windsurfing and pedal-boating await you.
