Ardèche Méridionale, 9 km/10 minutes south of Aubenas, on the edge of the Forest, on a 2-hectare plot, this totally independent Holiday cottage is housed in a large 18th-century stone house. You'll be able to enjoy all the outdoor space without overlooking anything. 60 m² terrace (secured by gates). Fully-equipped 16 m² kitchen, 28 m² living room, vaulted "Chauvet" bedroom (140*200cm bed), "Aguyanne" bedroom (160*200cm bed), "Gerbier" bedroom (2 90x190cm bunk beds), 12 m² living room/toy library, bathroom with Italian shower, separate toilet. Numerous books, games, table soccer, Wii and Playstation games, DVD's. Garden furniture on terrace, large parasol, picnic table near the Forest. Garage for bikes and motorcycles available. Easy access. Close to many tourist attractions (see the many reviews from holidaymakers!). Hiking from the Holiday cottage, signposted Ardéchoise trail 2 km away. Shops and services 2 km away, "Village des Producteurs", several hypermarkets, Décathlon, Fnac less than 9 km.
Length of stay: 7 nights minimum, or 14 nights in very high season (mid-July/mid-August).

Nous avons aménagé notre maison de famille en gîte et obtenu le label Gîte de France 3 épis en 2014. Nous avons grand plaisir à accueillir "nos" vacanciers et faisons ce qui est en notre pouvoir pour que leur séjour soit très agréable. A leur arrivée, une visite de la maison permet de parler avec passion d'une région qu'il nous tient à coeur de faire découvrir, (ou re-découvrir). Nous tenons à jour et à disposition beaucoup d'informations pour faire aimer l'Ardèche !

Very nice holiday home! It has everything we wished, for a quiet and comfortable stay. Lots of space in and around the house. The home is well located in the Ardèche for a diverse palet of daytrips (caves, canoe, swimming, hiking and even a geyser in Vals-les-Bains). We stayed here for 3 weeks and never had a dull moment. In short: we did very much enjoy our stay here and recommend it to everyone who likes to get their "batteries charged".

I am always happy when "my" vacationers enjoy their time in my old house, and in our region where, as you mention, there is a wide pallet of possibilities, that can be appreciated by adults and by the younger ones. Le gîte Baragne est parfait pour un séjour déconnecté. Le gîte est très charmant. L'environnement direct de la maison est agréable et calme. Le gîte est isolé avec un grand jardin. Mais toutefois proche des commerces et activités.
Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la grande terrasse au niveau de la cuisine, les équipements, les nombreux jeux sur place.
Enfin, nous nous sommes sentis bien accueillis par Jean-Claude qui a été très attentif.- Cleanliness

Un grand merci pour votre très bel avis. Pour moi, il est naturel de faire le maximum pour que le gîte et son environnement soient le plus accueillant possible, et je le fais avec plaisir. Je suis ravi que les grands et le petit aient apprécié notre maison. Merci encore d'avoir choisi notre gîte et de l'avoir rendu en état de propreté irréprochable. Je vous accueillerai de nouveau avec joie, car séjourner en Ardèche seulement une semaine, c'est trop court !
