Looking for peace and quiet, nature, and a breath of fresh air? The “Retour aux sources” holiday cottage, located in the heart of the charming village of Saint Nicolas des Biefs, offers you a peaceful getaway in the Bourbonnais mountains. Come unplug from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature in this enchanting setting. Whether in summer or winter, with friends or family, you’ll have plenty of activities to choose from: hiking starting right from the holiday cottage along the many marked trails, exploring the local flora and fauna, swimming and water sports at the Saint Clément lake (11 km away), and cultural tours and local crafts. An inn and a grocery store are located right on the village’s renovated square.
A second adjoining holiday cottage for 4 to 6 people will soon be available. Perfect if you want to share the experience and spend time together!

Ground floor: Access the front door via a wooden deck. Open-concept kitchen leading to the dining room, reading nook, and bathroom (shower and toilet) with a washing machine.
First floor: 1 bedroom for 2 people (160 x 200 cm bed), a living room.
Second floor: 2 bedrooms for 2 people each (one with a Bed 140 x 190 facing the staircase, and the other with a Bed 160 x 200).
Electric heating in the bedrooms, bathroom, and living room; a wood-pellet stove in the kitchen/dining room.

This holiday cottage, located right in the center of the village, does not have an outdoor yard. However, the surrounding nature and open spaces are sure to delight you. The griddle and patio furniture are stored indoors from mid-October to mid-April.

Highlights of the holiday cottage: Bed linen provided and beds made on arrival, bathroom linen, end-of-stay housekeeping, electric heating, and electricity included.
