Situated 2 km from the village of Franchesse and 6 km from the spa town of Bourbon l'Archambault, this little house is adjacent to the owners' home, who run an organic farm. If you wish, they'll be happy to show you around their cattle farm. In a "chalet" atmosphere, with its pine furniture, the gîte des papillons invites you to relax. On sunny days, you'll enjoy your own private space with terrace and garden.
Ground floor: kitchen opening onto living room with dining area and sitting area, wood-burning stove, 1 bedroom (1 x 160cm bed), shower room, separate toilet. Wood-fired heating.
GITE FEATURES: Bed linen and towels provided. Firewood supplied. Cure package: - 15% for 3 weeks.
Possibility of an extra person in the sofa bed in the living room.
Electricity at customer's expense, to be paid on site at end of stay.

4/5Logement spacieux, bien équipé où l'ont se sent bien, avec Les propriètaires à côté, sympathiques, de bon conseil et réactif en cas de besoin. Nos voisins Les charolais sont tout à fait charmants et très Zen.
Nous n'avons pas eu de chance avec le temps qui nous a empêché de profiter de certaines sorties nature, dont une marche en forêt de Tronçais, écourtée pour cause d'orage et grosse pluie. Nous sommes donc partis vers st Amand Montrond où aucun site touristique n'était ouvert. L'office de tourisme nous a aimablement dirigé vers la visite du très beau Château d'Ainay le Vieil, avec l'avantage d'être ouvert le lundi! Nous avons apprécié, car ce fut une belle découverte. Nous avons beaucoup dirigé nos pas vers Bourbon l'Archambault, château, savonnerie, spectacle culturel avec musicien locaux à la vielle et goupe de musiciens, chanteuses et danseurs Ukrainien, fabuleux.
Bon le Bourbonnais et son bocage, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire. Eglises, musées et châteaux, si on aime c'est bien. Dommage, ça avait l'air plus animé à partir du week end de notre départ. Côté positif, nous sommes rentés tès reposés...- Cleanliness 5/5
