In Arronnes, in the Allier department, the holiday cottage is situated at the top of a small valley, on the edge of a 100-hectare family-owned Forest accessible directly from the property. This setting allows guests to enjoy walks through a preserved Forest and the landscapes of the Bourbonnais Mountains. Le Mayet-de-Mountain is 7 km away, Vichy and its UNESCO-listed spa heritage site are 20 km away, and La Loge des Gardes, an outdoor adventure park, is 21 km away.

The house is arranged over two levels.

Ground floor: 1 bedroom for 2 people, accessible to guests with limited mobility, with its own bathroom (shower/toilet). It has a door leading directly outside. Open-concept kitchen connected to the living room with a professional upright stove, laundry room, and separate toilet.

First floor: featuring a bathroom (shower) and a separate toilet, plus 4 double bedrooms, including one measuring 9 m² with two beds (supplement of €20 per day per person), which is best suited for kids. An interior walkway, overlooking the living room and open kitchen, leads to the last bedroom on this floor. This bedroom has a private bathroom (tub/toilet) and direct access to the terrace.

Several terraces surround the house, including a 13 m² terrace upstairs (with direct access from the Févier d’Amérique and La Châtaignier bedrooms), offering an unobstructed view of the valleys of the Bourbonnaise Mountains. Two wood-burning stoves provide warmth during cooler weather. Don’t expect a traditional TV: the living room is equipped with a video projector, and satellite Wi-Fi is ideal for telework. The decor, inspired by travels in Asia, combines imported furniture with a hand-painted mural.

Highlights of the holiday cottage: Travel light—it's all inclusive! Beds made on arrival and sheets provided, along with bath linens, dish towels, electricity, and heating.

Please note: Exterior finishing work is currently underway, particularly on the woodwork. Access to the holiday cottage is via a path that is not suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance. You’ll travel about 700 meters along a path that runs alongside a field and then through the family’s Forest before reaching the holiday cottage. We recommend following the route marked by the owner.
