The starting point: an unexpected encounter. When we bought the house, a salamander appeared, like a wink from nature. This fascinating animal, recognized as a good indicator of the health of forest ecosystems, has become the symbol of this place. It represents the unspoilt nature that surrounds the Holiday cottage, but also a call to rethink our relationship with it, to favor more environmentally-friendly choices. For us, it's also a good-luck charm, a gentle invitation to slow down and reconnect with what's essential.
The Salamandre Holiday cottage combines comfort and authenticity, making it the ideal place for a vacation with family or friends. The sofa bed can accommodate up to 6 people.
You'll be close to the Parc des Volcans d'Auvergne, an exceptional natural site for lovers of Hiking and wide-open spaces, as well as the spa town of Vichy, just a few kilometers away, perfect for moments of Wellbeing and discovery.
A shared 12x5-meter heated outdoor swimming pool, a pétanque court and a ping-pong table are available for all Holiday cottages in the hamlet.
Enjoy this haven of peace, combining comfort, nature and proximity to the region's treasures.
First floor: a spacious living area with a fitted kitchen and comfortable lounge. The sofa in the living room converts to a 160x200 bed, providing accommodation for up to 6 people.
Upstairs: a 2-person bedroom (160x200 cm), a 2-person bedroom (2 beds 90x200cm), a shower room and separate WC.
A private terrace, ideal for relaxing outdoors while admiring the beauty of the landscape.
Holiday cottage plus: relax, everything's included sheets and beds made on arrival, towels, tea towels, cleaning, electricity and heating.
More than expected? 2 other Holiday cottages are available on site.

Magnifique et reposant
5/5Très beau gîte avec une vue magnifique très calme. La piscine est très belle et bien chauffée. On se régale de nager ou de profiter des chaises longues devant les montagnes d'Auvergne. Gîte bien équipé avec de belles visites à faire à proximité.

Très bon gîte mais attention à la proximité
4/5Très beau gîte récent et agréable. Idéal pour une famille de 4 personnes. Bien équipé et deco sympa.
Seul bémol : proximité avec le gîte d’à côté et la terrasse des voisins qui fait que l’on a l’impression de partager l’espace et que l’on entend toutes les conversations commme s’ils étaient juste à côté. Dommage car si l’on recherche le calme du lieu (on est en plaine campagne), mieux vaut qu’il ne soit pas loué… d’où mon 4 étoiles sur la note globale du séjour.- Cleanliness 5/5
