La Bourbonnière

Large gîte in the heart of the Monts de la Madeleine and the Montagne Bourbonnaise, perfect for family reunions, get-togethers with friends, company seminars, association stays...

At an altitude of around 1,000 m and set in a remarkable natural environment, you can enjoy a wide range of hiking, horse-riding and mountain-biking activities all year round.), nature activities in both summer and winter, with snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails in and around the commune (Montoncel cross-country ski center, La Loge des Gardes downhill ski and summer leisure resort just a few km away), mushroom and blueberry picking, accrobranche, water sports at the Saint-Clément lake... There's something for everyone, young and old! It has also been awarded the "Accueil vélo" label. For city outings, Vichy 35 km and Roanne 40 km, Renaison and le Mayet-de-Montagne 20 mi. away.

First floor: 200m² multi-purpose hall with stage, 3 washrooms and professional kitchen (rental not included).
1st floor: Two dormitories (14 and 12 people in bunk beds), 2 bathrooms (6 showers, 6 sinks, 4 toilets).
Two bedrooms with a double bed and private shower/wc, 4 apartments for 4 people. 2 bedrooms (1 double bed, 2 single bunk beds), shower, wc, kitchenette.
Outside, a large enclosed garden offers an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains and their sublime sunsets. It is equipped with a few tables and a barbecue. For parking, a communal parking lot is located just opposite the establishment. There's also a children's playground and a petanque area.

Catering available using fresh, local produce - everything is homemade! Group and seminar hire on request.
If you don't want to rent the gîte privately, individual guests are welcome from one night upwards! These bookings are only open about 1 1/2 months before the requested date. In this case, the first floor and garden are shared by all (with the exception of the professional kitchen, which is not accessible).
