The hamlet of Marnod lies on the heights of the village at 700 m altitude. In this small town of Saint Germain de Joux, gigantic cylindrical hollows 2 to 3 m deep. The Semine and its tributary the Combet are solely responsible for this natural beauty. And why not take advantage of these successive waterfalls to cool off on sunny days.

For the more experienced or the more athletic, why not try your hand at the mountain circuit. After these rhythmic climbs and descents, relax on one of the three Haut Bugey lakes. Choose from Lac de Nantua, Lac de Sylans or Petit Canada du Haut Bugey.
For the winter season, about 6 km away, Giron is, depending on the season, a real paradise for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. At an altitude of 1000 m, there are kilometers of trails for everyone.

After days full of activities, take advantage of the 4-person gîte with its different areas and levels. And if you're looking for happiness by the wood-burning stove, curl up on the sofa with a good book. A Nordic bath is available on request (WE 40€).
First floor: main entrance with pull-out bed and washing-machine area. Functional, fully-equipped kitchen opens onto the living room and sitting area.
A few steps down: lounge, living room and covered terrace with a beautiful view of the village below,
1 floor up from the kitchen: bedroom with a 140cm bed and an 80x170cm child's bed. Two dressing rooms on either side of the bed.

Travel light: beds are made on arrival. Linen and towels provided. Charges? Like the owners' smile, supplied with. A €50 cleaning fee will be charged. Private parking. Electric and wood heating. Gîte adjoining the owners' residence. Shared garden available.
