In this little City of Saint Germain de Joux, you'll find gigantic cylindrical hollows 2 to 3 m deep. The Semine and its tributary the Combet are solely responsible for this natural beauty. It's dangerous to swim at certain points (siphon effect in the pools). For the more experienced or the more athletic, why not try the mountain circuit. After these rhythmic climbs and descents, relax at one of the three Haut Bugey lakes. Choose between the Lac de Nantua, Lac de Sylans or Lac Genin, the Little Canada of the Haut Bugey... For the winter season, depending on the season, Giron, around 6 km away, is a real paradise for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. At an altitude of 1,000 m, there are kilometers of trails for everyone to enjoy, and after a day full of activities, why not take advantage of the Holiday cottage for 4 people, with its different spaces and levels. And if you're looking for happiness by the wood-burning stove, curl up on the sofa with a good book. A Nordic bath (€40) is also available on request, weather permitting. Ground floor: main entrance with pull-out bed and washing-machine area. The living room and sitting area, the open, well-equipped and functional kitchen, accessible by 2 steps. From the living room you can access the covered terrace, with a beautiful view of the village below. 1 floor up from the kitchen: bedroom with one 160x200 bed (separable) and one 80X170 Kids bed.
