Maison Joly

Comfortable old house typical of the Revermont region, in the little-known southern Jura between Lyon and Geneva. Bed linen and towels provided.

In the heart of the hamlet of Soiriat, the Holiday cottage Maison Joly is a typical Revermont stone house, with its staircase and barn arch.

It can accommodate up to 5 people. From the courtyard (with parking) and via the stone staircase, you'll reach a large living room with a functional kitchen, dining room and east-facing relaxation area. From here, a short staircase leads up to the garden and a terrace equipped with furniture. Continuing from the living room, a corridor leads to the shower room with WC and storage space, and one step further down, the bedroom has a 160x200 bed that can be split into two single beds (please contact us for details). A wooden staircase leads to a second bedroom with a double bed (140x200) and a single bed (90x190). Both bedrooms face east, towards the garden.
On the first floor, a barn provides safe parking for bicycles. The adjoining former stable has been converted to provide a separate toilet and shower room, with laundry and boiler room, and leads to the garden.

Holiday cottage plus: beds made on arrival, bathroom linen provided and utilities included. Hiking and cycling trails start from the Semi-detached house in this small village. Ile Chambod, with its supervised swimming, is just 4 km away. The Jarbonnet rock-climbing site is 4km along the river, and the Cerdon cliffs are 15km away.
The City of Bourg en Bresse offers markets (Wednesday and Saturday) and a rich heritage (Monastère Royal de Brou).
