A little getaway between forest and pasture? We've got just what you need! On the heights opposite Giron, in a peaceful setting, recharge your batteries in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional. A secluded spot in the heart of nature, but not cut off from the world. Take the time to discover vast expanses of green. Do you know all the wild flowers in the area? Don't pick them! They can be rare and protected. During your stay, depending on the season, equip yourself and why not hike an 11 km circuit. Are you ready for "le chemin du facteur" via the Roches d'Orvaz, about 3 hours' walk: a hike with wide landscapes on the edge of a formidable natural amphitheatre carved out by the Semine river.
In winter, take to the beginner downhill ski slopes at La Pesse or Les Moussières. For cross-country skiers, the track is 10 minutes away.
Discover an exceptional Nordic area on snowshoes and follow animal tracks in the forest.
For the winter season, the owner provides snowshoes and sledges for transporting suitcases. Mountain vacations are well worth it!
This characterful old farmhouse sleeps a maximum of 6, with two bedrooms.
From the separate entrance to the gîte: a room for storing wood and your bikes or snow equipment. Open the door: a corridor leads to two bedrooms: one with a double bed (140cm), the other with 4 single beds, including two bunk beds.
Lower level: the large, chalet-style living room with wood-burning stove. Shower room with WC. Access to the garden, not overlooked, is via this space.
Take it easy: beds are made up on arrival, and linen, utilities and wood are included. Cleaning and bathroom linen are extra. Parking on the property outside winter. Otherwise 100 meters away. Television on demand

Très beau gîte en pleine nature avec petites randonnées accessibles facilement depuis le logement.

Manon Un séjour plein de surprises
Nous sommes venus en famille au gîte des Roches d'Orvaz et avons passé un excellent séjour. Malgré la météo plutôt exceptionnelle pour un mois de Mai, avec de la neige a nos réveils, nous avons pu profiter de la région. Le gîte de Josiane est un excellent havre de paix en pleine nature. Il dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin et Josiane est très disponible. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

A CINQ un week end parfait
Nous avons passé un excellent weekend. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Josiane.
Le gite est décoré avec gout et très fonctionnel. Il est situé au calme, en pleine nature. Nous avons pu profiter d'une neige fraiche et les enfants ont été comblés. Des ballades sont accessibles à partir du gite. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.- Cleanliness

Pano Prachtig gelegen gezellig verblijf
Het was een super gezellig verblijf. We hebben er enorm van genoten. Goede bedden, uitstekende kachel, alle keukengerei aanwezig. De omgeving was zeer mooi om te wandelen en we hebben de laatste dag nog wat langer kunnen blijven om in de sneeuw te spelen. De gastvrouw had goede wandeltips en maakte een heerlijke kerstbuche voor ons. Wij hebben genoten!
