In the hamlet of Rix, on the outskirts of the village of Lhuis. An undiscovered gem with bucolic charm and a peaceful atmosphere. Let yourself be charmed by its bourgeois, peasant and winegrower residences.
Soak up its architectural treasures, such as the little church that bears witness to 2000 years of history.
The surrounding countryside is lush and green. Hiking trails offer panoramic views that will leave you breathless. The ViaRhona cycle path, 3.5 km from the Holiday cottage, will take you on a journey between Lake Geneva and the Mediterranean.
The hamlet of Millieu, 8km away, boasts a viewpoint overlooking Lake Millieu. This beautiful marshy lake is a sensitive natural area.
Let's discover your vacation destination. This former inn, on the edge of the D19 road, offers you a Holiday cottage for 4 people, on two levels.
Take a seat on the terrace and admire the scenery! A magnificent view of the Rhône and the Vieux Chêne, a majestic tree that offers shade on sunny days.
The main entrance opens onto a semi-open-plan living room and a colorful, fully-equipped kitchen. Enjoying a cup of coffee with a view of the Rhône river and the terrace shaded by the Vieux Chêne, is sure to calm your nerves.
Ground floor: living room with open kitchen; laundry room, separate toilet.
1st floor: two bedrooms (each with two 80*200 beds that can be joined together), one with dressing room. Shower room and WC.
Simplify your life: everything is included. Beds made on arrival, bathroom linen supplied. Pellet heating included. You'll have to pay the €60 cleaning fee and €35 per stay for pets.

Ce séjour au gîte du Vieux Chêne a été pour nous une belle découverte, ressourçant et reposant.
Tout est parfait, de l'accueil des propriétaires très à l'écoute et serviables, au gite grand, propre, très bien équipé, en passant par ce grand chêne inspirant et la vue sur le Rhône.
Nos petits-enfants ont adoré le lieu comme nous.

Gîte agréable et bien équipé, doté d'une superbe terrasse avec vue sur le Rhône ombragée par un vieux chêne multicentenaire.
Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires.
