Located in the Parc Naturel du Haut Jura, at an altitude of 920 m, close to the village's old cheese factory, the Holiday cottage has been renovated in a "chalet" style to accommodate 6 people, with three bedrooms, a sleeping area on the mezzanine and two bathrooms. Entrance to the Holiday cottage is via an internal staircase, which leads to the 2nd and top floor of a house. Access to the Holiday cottage is via the entrance hall, which features a wood-burning stove and opens onto a living room with a bright, functional kitchen. There are 3 bedrooms to choose from: the first with a single 140cm bed, the second with a 160*200cm bed and its own shower room-WC, and the last with two 90*190cm single beds. A second shower room and integrated WC. For young and old alike, a relaxation area accessible via a ladder is located in the attic (no windows), ideal for reading or playing games. Electric heating and wood heating. Beds made on arrival. The Holiday cottage is adjoining the owner's house. Come and enjoy the peace and quiet or discover the 17 kms of Cross-country skiing trails in winter. Downhill skiing at 10 kms and dog sledding are also available. Summer activities include a wide range of walks, trails and hikes, as well as a variety of water sports (swimming, fishing, canoeing, etc.). Other lakes to discover include Lake Genin, also known as Petit Canada, with its inn, and Vouglans Lake with its dam.
A brewery next to the Holiday cottage, LA PIVA, brewer of beers, as well as a restaurant on weekends only, on reservation, in a magnificent setting and a very warm welcome.
A cheese dairy on the farm, selling cheese directly, located 1km from the gîte. 1 wheelbarrow of wood at 20€.
