In a traditional farmhouse in the Saône Valley, a former outbuilding of the Château de Bey, Martine and Christophe offer you a ground-floor bedroom as an extension of their house.
A separate entrance leads to a bedroom with a double bed (140cm), a shower room and separate WC.
The peaceful Countryside setting invites you to enjoy the garden and heated Piscine in summer. Breakfast is served indoors or on the covered terrace. Reduced rates on request.

Christelle-Laurent 1 nuit halte au gîte de Martine
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'1 nuit pour notre halte vers Aix en provence. L'accueil des propriétaires, la propriété et l'environnement paisible sont excellents pour qui veut se reposer. Nous avons pû profiter de la piscine à notre arrivée en fin d'après-midi après notre parcours de route caniculaire et la proximité avec Mâcon nous a permis de goûter au plaisir d'une bonne table maconnaise.
Le petit dejeuner maison de Martine est exceptionnel et servi en terrasse à l'ombre de leur bati.
Un grand merci pour votre accueil que nous recommandons aux futurs voyageurs. Nous reviendrons.- Cleanliness

Morgane Très belle maison au calme
Nous avons fait escale une nuit ! Super maison très bon accueil des propriétaires. La piscine un vrai plus et super petit déjeuner.

Lies Good stay
Communication with Martine went very smoothly. Although, we did get a slighty akward feeling because of the way our question was answered. I don't know if we read it the right way but the three dots at the end of the sentence came of a little condesending, as if we were dumb for asking that question. (We asked if it would be possible for us to use a barbeque and they responded with: 'this is a chambre d'hote, not a gite...', we had stayed at b&bs where there is a possibility to prepare food, so we thought we would just ask)
Because of this, we were not entirely comfortable during our stay. during the stay itself, the hosts were friendly enough and there were no further issues.
The chamber itself was clean and cool, the only downside is that the bed is quite small. My partner is quite tall (1m88) and his feet did not lay inside the bed.
There is a pool, however, it is right outside the kitchen and there is a large window on that side. Thus, whenever Martine was working in the kitchen, she looked directly to the pool. Because of this, it felt a little bit akward again, there is not really any privacy or even a possibility to just be alone for a while.
Breakfast was really good, everything is fresh and there is plenty. Martine asked if we had any preferences and took those into account.Overall, we enjoyed our stay here but it was not a great fit with the way we like to travel.

One remains perplexe reading this review.Regarding the bed size : it is clearly specified on Gîtes de France website : 140 x 190.Regarding the swimming pool use : I am shocked and disappointed by this remark. When we have guests at home, which means 2 people max, the swimming pool is at first for them. Nobody else stays on the pool space and I dont use to stay behind the windows either.
