Le Petit Manoa is the perfect balance between nature, comfort and freedom. A small, cosy vacation home in the Ain region, perfect for recharging your batteries... or setting off on an adventure. So, are you looking for a relaxing weekend or a sporty break? Set on the 1st floor of a completely renovated house, on unenclosed land and right next to a farm (dairy cows and farmyard), this 4-person Holiday cottage has been designed to offer you a gentle stay. Access is via a metal staircase at the rear, leading to a small, sheltered, south-facing terrace - perfect for getting your day off to a good start, away from prying eyes...except perhaps those of the peacock from the neighboring farm who sometimes drops in to say hello to holidaymakers!
Inside, you'll discover a modern, soothing ambience: wood parquet flooring, natural tones, touches of aqua green... a contemporary decor that appeals as much to couples on a getaway as to families or friends on a weekend getaway. The living area features a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the living room with sofa bed. A comfortable bedroom, a practical shower room and separate WC complete this functional cocoon. When it comes to activities, there's no room for boredom! Whether you're more the quiet type or a sporty type, the region is full of possibilities. From the Holiday cottage, lace up your sneakers and set off to explore a variety of trails, accessible to all, and immerse yourself in unspoilt nature, rich in flora and fauna. On sunny days, treat yourself to a refreshing break with a visit to the Corveissiat cave and retreat, or push on to the impressive Grottes du Cerdon, a fascinating site. For the sporty types, get on your two wheels! The choice is yours for a bike ride, or a mountain bike outing? And why not take your motorcycle for a spin on the scenic roads. The Holiday cottage is fully equipped for cyclists and can accommodate up to 4 bikes. Two private parking spaces are also available. And for gourmets? The region is also an invitation to discover. Let yourself be tempted by local specialties such as Bresse chicken with cream sauce, quenelles with Nantua sauce, frogs or the famous Comté cheese. For an authentic immersion experience, take a tour of the Fruitières (Villereversure, Aromas, Arinthod...) and discover the secrets behind the making of this emblematic cheese. For pasta lovers: the owner is an expert! she makes it. Don't hesitate to ask for a demonstration if you're present on a day when pasta-making is taking place, otherwise you'll find her at the Corveissiat Market every Friday afternoon with a dozen other food vendors, or at the large Bourg-en-Bresse market every Saturday morning.
