Dreaming of escape? This Chalet offers just that. In the heart of the Forest. Le Pailly Bas, an 8-person Holiday cottage, remains a detached house. On the Col de la Faucille, go through the gate and onto the path that leads to this large property comprising 6 dwellings over several hectares. Access your future vacation via a forest path. As you approach the edge of the Col de la Faucille, you'll catch a glimpse of Lake Geneva. Take a closer look and admire the Mountain range. Would you prefer to walk? From the Holiday cottage, long walks for young and old. In winter, to be sure of arriving, equip your tires with chains. Access to the Holiday cottage is cleared of snow by the owner, and comprises 3 bedrooms under the combes (one bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a second bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, and a 3rd bedroom with two single bunk beds). Shower room and WC on ground floor, shower room with integrated WC on 1st floor. No internet, but the certainty of a total change of scenery. Mobile network not very well developed. Wifi with satellite available on site. You'll find it outside with its two bars or in the living room. Heating and electricity included. Professional stays limited to 5 people. Linen hire available at extra cost. Bathroom linen not provided or rented.

    Dépaysement assuré

    Le gîte est parfaitement situé entre la ville de Gex et le col de la faucille. On peut même faire des promenades en forêt dans la montagne à partir du gîte.
    Le mobilier est plutôt désuet mais il y à tout ce qu'il faut. La literie pourrait être améliorée mais c'est cosi.
    Attention avec les petits enfants, l'escalier pour monter aux chambres est raide. Deux barrières de sécurité seraient bienvenues.les proprios sont très gentils et concilient sur les heures d'arrivée et de départs.

    Magnifique séjour

    Nous avons passé un très bon séjour !
    L'accueil du propriétaire est accueillante et bienveillante.
    Il reste toujours disponible et de bons conseils, le chalet est bien équipé et chaleureux ! Le cadre est magnifique et ressourçant.

    Nous reviendrons avec plaisir...

    Vacances au calme et déconnecté

    Séjour au calme et au frais (en période de canicule c'est vraiment un plus). Le gite est confortable et très bien équipé.
    Il y a beaucoup de belles randonnées à proximité

    vacances au calme

    Séjour au calme, dans les bois avec de beaux animaux: chevreuils, bouvreuil, pic noir tambourinant énergiquement au dessus de nos têtes. Soirées autour d'un poêle à bois rayonnant qui permet de remplacer avantageusement la télé. Ambiance chaleureuse et réussie.

    Un Noël à la montagne

    Séjour très agréable avec un propriétaire disponible et très convivial. Gite très bien équipé et très confortable mème par grand froid. Calme et silence dans ce coin de montagne sous le col de la faucille. Nous recommandons sans soucis.
