In the heart of the DOMBES region, halfway between Pérouges and the Villars les Dombes bird park, on the outskirts of Lyon, the Holiday cottage has its origins in this farmhouse, formerly part of the Château du Montellier. At the end of the Dombes farmhouse (cereals and rearing calves from September to May), the Holiday cottage sleeps 7 people (3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms). From the courtyard and private garden, you enter into a bright living room and spacious lounge. A functional, fully-equipped kitchen area, a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet with washbasin. A small office area with built-in cupboard leads to the master bedroom (1 x 160*200 bed) with en-suite shower room. In the center of the living space, the white staircase leads to the first floor with 2 bedrooms: one with 1 bed 140x190 and dressing room and the second with 2 beds 90x190 and 1 single bed 120x190; shower room with Italian shower and separate toilet. Wood heating and double-flow air conditioning. Piscine shared with other guests and the owner (4.1 * 8.5, depth 0.9 to max. 2m with regular slope) with its low shelter and sheltered terrace are available from mid-April to mid-September (10am-7pm). Nearby: a lake for fishing enthusiasts. Ideal for cycling (bicycles available at the Holiday cottage), the Dombes plateau with its thousand ponds will enchant you with its peaceful nature and cuisine. Discover the Meximieux and Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne Markets with their covered market halls, and a little further afield, the Lyon metropolis with its historical and gastronomic heritage, the capital of BRESSE with its Royal Monastery, or the Bugey region with its renowned Vineyard.
