Set in the Jura mountains at an altitude of 880 m, in Chézery-Forens, the Holiday cottage is located in the heart of nature, a little higher than the hamlet of Noire Combe, right at the start of a hiking trail. On the trail side, Kate and Philippe, the owners, are year-round residents. On the other side, the Holiday cottage (115 m², sleeps 6) opens onto the chamois glade. A glass door leads from the private terrace to the living room. The tone of the place is set: contemporary lines, subtle softness of wood and stone, harmony of whites. The large living area houses a fully-equipped kitchen with a large dining table, a comfortable lounge and a wood-burning stove. A single step leads from this large room to the hallway, which on one side leads to 3 spacious, bright bedrooms (one 140cm bed, one 160cm bed, two 90cm beds and a games area). Beds are made up on request. On the other side: 2 shower rooms, one with integrated WC + a separate WC and finally the laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Pellet central heating; logs for the stove. Holiday cottage ideal for both summer and winter, close to Hiking trails and Monts Jura ski resorts. Non-smoking Holiday cottage. Beds made on arrival at guests' request. Cleaning and towels included in the price. Restaurant in the village, 4km away. Concerning the internet, sometimes due to snow (poles down) or broken fiber cables, we are obliged to offer an airbox to tenants while waiting for repairs by Orange. Lodging not suitable for business stays in winter.
