Just 2 km from Saint Germain-de-Joux and 5 km from Giron, this detached Holiday cottage in a small mountain hamlet sleeps up to 6.
Nearby, you'll find the "Promenade de la roue" and the "Promenade des Marmites".
For swimming, you can visit Lake Lalleyriat or Lake Genin.
Budding archaeologists can visit Dinoplane on the trail of the dinosaurs, Giron Nordic Ski, Plateau du Retord....
Whether you're looking to discover the region's natural or cultural heritage, the Terre Valserine is a magnificent region rich in activities.
Access to the little house in Marnod is via the shared parking lot with the owners.
The main entrance opens onto a charming kitchen and living room combining wood and stone, with a warm, uncluttered decor.
The living room with pellet stove will keep you warm in colder weather.
A beautiful wooden and wrought iron staircase leads up to a large 50 m² mezzanine where the sleeping arrangements are as follows: on one side a double bed (160x200), on the other a single bed (90x200) with a relaxation area and net for the enjoyment of young and old alike, and finally, opposite, a double bed (140x200) and a single bed (90x200).
Three steps down is a lovely shower room with integrated WC.
You have access to a private, unoverlooked terrace.
Holiday cottage plus: Bed linen and towels provided and utilities included (wood-fired heating).
A 6-person Nordic bath is available for an additional charge, upon reservation with the owner.
During winter, we strongly recommend that you bring snow equipment for your vehicle.

Jeune couple, avec 4 enfants, nous nous sommes lancés dans l'aventure des "gîtes" il y a un an.
Résultat....que du bonheur. L'accueil des clients est une belle découverte à chaque fois. Les échanges sont particulièrement enrichissants. A travers cette ancienne forge, donner la possibilité à d'autres de découvrir notre belle région est un vrai plaisir.

Gîte magnifique et chaleureux avec des matériaux très bien travaillés (pierre, bois,..). Hôtes charmants, tout était très bien. Dans une belle région que nous venions découvrir à cette occasion, pour les randonnées ça monte fort :)

Julie Semaine au calme dans un joli gîte
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la petite maison de Marnod. Au calme, situé dans la montagne, nous avons profité des chemins de randonnée autour du gîte.
Le gîte est joliment rénové, très propre, le pôle apporte de la chaleur à la mi-saison, et la terrasse permet de profiter des moments ensoleillés. Parfaitement adapté pour les enfants, nos filles ont adoré jouer dans le trampoline, aux jeux de société. En plus, un parc à filet / accro branche en entrée libre à quelques minutes en voiture!!

Orlane & maxime Magnifique chalet en montagne
Logement grand et plein de charme, entouré de montagnes. Endroit paisible, parfait pour se ressourcer. Bain nordique très agréable. Propriétaires agréables, à l'écoute et arrangeants. Le rapport qualité-prix est super. Je recommande fortement ce joli chalet. Au plaisir de revenir !

Cel and family Séjour sous la Neige et le Beau temps
Magnifique séjour sous la neige dans ce petit hameau de Marnod, véritable havre de paix.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et aux petits soins.
Grand plus, le bain nordique à faire en soiree et on peut encore en profiter le lendemain.
Le gîte est authentique, poêle à pellets, veilles pierres, vue sur la vallée et la montagne et belle espace de vie.
Grand dortoir en haut et belle grande salle salle de bain avec chauffage au sol, bien agréable en hiver après une journée de ski ou de randos.
La région est magnifique et les petits producteurs ne manquent pas. On est partis nostalgique de notre séjour et nos 2 ados ont adoré.
