Escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a night or a weekend at La Ferme de Rapan, a welcoming retreat located just forty minutes from Lyon.

Nestled on the outskirts of the medieval town of Pérouges, in the Ain region, this charming historic building features three fully renovated bed and breakfast rooms. Combining the charm of the original wooden beams with modern comforts, this retreat is a true haven of serenity that invites you to unwind, surrounded by light wood, natural fibers, and tasteful decor.

Waking up at the farm is a celebration of local flavors with a gourmet breakfast served in the bright little kitchen. Sandra and Farid will be delighted to introduce you to the flavors of the Ain through a platter of exclusively local products: crispy artisanal “ficelle” bread, croissants, or homemade pastries, local honey, and homemade jams, accompanied by fresh fruit juices and regional specialties. This culinary experience is the perfect prelude to extending the pleasure with a cheese and/or charcuterie platter to share in the evening. We do not offer a set dinner menu, but only platters designed for two to share in the evening.

The experience continues outdoors, where time seems to stand still. The spacious covered terrace, furnished with rattan furniture and colorful textiles, invites you to read a book or share a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. On sunny days, the owners’ Piscine on the property offers a refreshing break with a breathtaking view of the farm’s traditional rooftops. La Ferme de Rapan promises a lively and rejuvenating stay, where the proximity to the city of Lyon allows you to enjoy an authentic getaway without the hassles of a long trip.

Sandra and Farid offer two bedrooms, each equipped with a 160/200 bed and a private bathroom. The third bedroom features two 90*200 beds and a private bathroom.
Accommodation for one additional guest is available.
Pets are allowed: only one pet, and only in the “Escapade” room.
Saltwater pool dimensions: 4m × 8m, 1.5 m deep. The pool is equipped with a kid-proof gate. Access hours: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Portable air conditioning is available only in the “Escapade” room.
