On the ground floor of the 1514 Château de la Griffonnière, with its five towers, the Holiday cottage Jeannette (166 m2) sleeps 6 with two bedrooms on one level. French parquet floors and ceilings, original cement tile floors and ornamental fireplaces subtly convey the atmosphere of the place. Your hosts Isabelle and Gérard offer you a simple, relaxed family welcome. The Holiday cottage is designed in a U-shape, with 4 interconnecting rooms. Access to the Holiday cottage is from the property's shared courtyard, with a few steps separating the courtyard from the front door. You enter directly into the hallway with its bookcase, which opens onto the dining room and living room. This is followed by the functional, fully-equipped kitchen and separate toilet with washbasin. From the kitchen, access to the chatelain's bedroom (1 bed 160) and semi-open bathroom, which has the unusual feature of being located in one of the Château's towers. The second bedroom, with 2 single beds (90 x 200) and a convertible sofa for two, opens directly onto the covered terrace with garden furniture and views over the park. On the estate, you'll find the Piscine (10x5m) with secure access (only in summer, depending on temperature from mid-May to end-September), the wooded park, the orchard, the children's play area and, as an optional extra, a "wellbeing massage".
