Close to the banks of the Rhône, the Gîte du Machaon (77 m²) can accommodate up to 6 guests with its 2 bedrooms and sleeping area. The unusual entrance to the gîte is via a private parking lot with garage and carport. Alongside the owners' workshop, this shared passageway with the neighbors leads to a private gate at the gîte to discover the property. Crossing the garden, you'll find the above-ground swimming pool (5.2m * 3.95 and 1.32 m high), accessible only in summer, and its terrace (secure area), as well as a pétanque court; and on your right, a relaxation area to enjoy the shade of the cherry tree. Entrance to the gîte is via the main terrace, which opens onto a fully-equipped kitchen (pellet stove) and living room. This is followed by a relaxation area that also opens onto the outside; a bedroom with a 140*190 bed, and a bathroom with integrated WC. A narrow staircase leads to the mezzanine with its 140x190 double bed and desk area. A second bedroom with two single beds and an independent toilet with washbasin. Electric and wood heating. A plus for this gîte: private swimming pool and boules pitch; pets allowed (with €150 deposit); beds made up on arrival, utilities included. Situated along the Viarhôna greenway, you can enjoy the region and discover the Rhône diversion canal. Water-skiing 2 km away, canoeing and kayaking 2.5 km and the WALIBI Rhône-Alpes park 6 km away. The filling of the swimming pool and its use by guests may be restricted in application of the "drought" decrees issued by the Ain prefecture.
