Just 12 km from Châtillon-sur-Chalaronne, famous for its Market in the medieval town, this new 4-person Holiday cottage adjoins the 6-person Gîte des Sablons.
From a private courtyard, an outside stone staircase leads to an entrance hall with a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the dining area, a shower room with integrated toilet, and an uncluttered relaxation area for quiet moments. From this room, a spiral staircase leads to a large relaxation room with beautiful exposed beams, including a bed (120x190), an area dedicated to young and old alike, as well as two bedrooms in warm, personalized colors, one with a double bed (140 x 190) and the other with 2 single beds (90 x 200).
For a short or longer stay, this Holiday cottage is ideally located to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area, in the shade of the large plane tree in the courtyard. A carport is at your disposal. Oil and wood heating. In the surrounding area, you can discover the Dombes region with its ponds and ornithological park, and take a number of family-friendly walks. A stone's throw away, you'll find the Beaujolais hillsides, where mountain bikers and walkers can admire the view over the Saône valley.

FANFAN ET JP LES CHAMPENOIS DE REIMS
Nous avons été très satisfaits, de notre séjour nous avons passé de bonne nuit au calme.
La literie confortable et très propre ainsi que tout l'ensemble. Madame LABALME superbe accueillante; serviable toujours prête à rendre service. Nous espérons revenir dans quelque temps.
Nous recommandons ce gîte les yeux fermés.
Pour des pêcheurs, la Saône est poissonneuse surtout pour Gardons, Brêmes et Tanches.

Vero Gite dans la nature
Très bon séjour dans ce gîte bien équipé. Hotesse très agréable et arrangeante. Vous recherchez des vacances au calme et en pleine campagne, c'est idéal. Randonnées proches du gite pour se promener au bords de la Chalaronne.

XEUTIOB Séjour Gîte La PLAIGNE - Juillet 2025
2ème séjour de 2 semaines avec Calme, tranquillité dans un cadre rural spacieux qui correspond tout à fait à notre attente ! Les bords de Saône (à 2 mn en VTT) nous ont permis de découvrir cette belle région entre Mâcon et ARS SUR FORMANS ! A noter l'accueil des propriétaire toujours à la hauteur! Le festival "CUIVRES EN DOMBES" est à 10 mn et les jalons sont posés pour l'an prochain !
