Nestled on the hills above the hamlet of Indrieux, in the town of Arandas, the Mouton d'Amédée holiday cottage consists of two adjoining units that can accommodate up to 12 people, in a peaceful setting in the heart of the Bugey region.

Upon arrival, two separate entrances allow you to explore the property at your own pace. From the large, elevated terrace, enjoy an unobstructed view of the village and the rolling landscapes of the Bugey—an ideal setting to recharge.

Inside, the living areas reveal the home’s full charm. Exposed stone walls, warm wood, and fully equipped kitchens that open onto the living rooms create a bright and welcoming atmosphere. In the “Mouton” holiday cottage, an old wine press serves as a reminder of the building’s agricultural past, while the custom-designed backsplashes featuring the farm’s cows add an original and authentic touch.

The two holiday cottages are spread over several levels and feature five bedrooms furnished with 90 × 200 cm single beds, several of which can be pushed together as needed. Exposed beams, attic spaces, and the varying levels are what give these old village houses their unique charm.
Fans are provided in the bedrooms. Located at an elevation of 700 meters, the hamlet generally enjoys cooler temperatures, often 5 °C lower than in the lowlands.

Outside, enjoy a large terrace, a private garden (depending on the holiday cottage), and a pétanque court. A shared gaming room awaits you with a pool table, foosball table, library, and board games. For a moment of relaxation, a wellbeing area with a shower, restroom, and Sauna is also available.

The surrounding area offers many activities: hiking on the Hauteville Plateau, bike rides along the roads of the Bugey region, swimming at Lake Virieu-le-Grand, exploring the Cerveyrieu waterfall, the Hostiaz via ferrata, farmers’ markets, and Bugey wine tastings.

The Holiday cottage Amédée offers:
A living area with a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms: one with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) and one with four single beds (90 × 200 cm), two of which can be joined together upon request.

The community parking lot is located behind the house.
Travel light: linen is supplied. End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option.
