Perched on the hills above the hamlet of Indrieux, in Arandas, the Amédée holiday cottage accommodates up to 6 people in a peaceful and authentic setting, in the heart of the Bugey region. Adjacent to the Mouton holiday cottage, it’s ideal for a getaway with family or friends.

Upon arrival, an outdoor staircase leads to a large private terrace offering an unobstructed view of the village and the rolling landscapes of the Bugey. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the peace and quiet and the fresh air.
The entrance is via the terrace and opens onto a pleasant, bright living area, featuring a fully equipped kitchen that opens onto the living room and lounge. The space offers a warm atmosphere, combining modern comfort with authentic charm. The backsplash, decorated with cows from the family farm, adds a unique touch and evokes the property’s agricultural roots. A bathroom with a toilet completes this level.

Upstairs, beneath the exposed beams, two comfortable bedrooms welcome guests: one with two single beds (90 × 200 cm) and a second with four single beds (90 × 200 cm), two of which can be pushed together upon request. A restroom with a sink is also located on this floor. Fans are provided in the bedrooms. At an elevation of 700 meters, nights are generally cooler, with temperatures often about 5 °C lower than those in the valley.

From the holiday cottage, set out to explore the treasures of the Bugey region: hiking on the Hauteville Plateau, bike rides, swimming at Lake Virieu-le-Grand, a visit to the Cerveyrieu waterfall, the Hostiaz via ferrata, or exploring the region’s traditional villages, farmers’ markets, and Bugey wineries.

At your disposal: a large private terrace, a shared pétanque court, and a gaming room shared by both holiday cottages featuring a pool table, foosball, a library, and board games.
Wellbeing area with shower, restroom, and Sauna (optional: €12 per day, by reservation with the owners).
The community parking lot is located behind the house.
Travel light: linen is supplied. End-of-stay cleaning is available as an option.
