Situated 30 minutes from Lyon in a rural setting, between the A42 N°7 freeway exit and the historic site of Pérouges, 15 km from the Plaine de l'Ain industrial park (and the CNPE) and at the gateway to the Dombes region, you'll be close to all the amenities offered by the town of Meximieux (shops, cinema, etc.). The gîte is equipped with fiber optics and air conditioning.

On the site of the Domaine de La Rouge, near the medieval town of Pérouges, the Holiday cottage du Grabotier, a detached 80m² house, sleeps 6. Brightness, comfort and Wellbeing are the watchwords of this place, a far cry from the old grabot storage area...

Frédéric and Marie Victoire, your hosts, will be delighted to tell you all about the amazing transformation of this building.
The entrance hall leads to the dining area and its contemporary, fully-equipped kitchen, with plenty of windows to enjoy the surrounding Countryside. A step further down, on a waxed concrete floor, a living room with its contemporary, uncluttered decor invites you to relax by the large bay window, opening onto the terrace or under the trees in fine weather. From the corridor, you have a choice of 3 personalized bedrooms: two, one "red" and the other turquoise, each with two 90*200 beds. The 3rd bedroom, in mustard colors, has a 160*200 bed. A large, functional shower room, WC with washbasin.

Electric heating included (25 kWh/day and 0.20€/kWh beyond). Outside, you can choose between the terrace with barbecue or the relaxation area, the lawn at the edge of the wood. This area is surrounded by an abundant, unenclosed hedge, but is well-defined. Underfloor heating.
