12 km from Châtillon sur Chalaronne, at the crossroads of numerous leisure sites, this 6-person Holiday cottage has been completely renovated to offer you quality accommodation. On arrival, you can choose between the two covered terraces (19.5 m² and 12.5 m²) to enjoy the surrounding Countryside. Entrance is either via the living room with its open-plan fitted kitchen, or via the lounge area with its wood-burning stove; bright, functional shower room, separate WC, laundry area under the stairs. On the 1st floor, a hall opens up to offer three beautiful bedrooms in warm, personalized colors, with views over the Countryside: mustard, red and blue, all with two 90*200 beds that can be joined together to offer large 180*200 beds. Oil heating. For reunions with friends or family, the Holiday cottage can accommodate up to 10 people with the second gîte (4 people). Ideally located to discover the Market in the medieval town and the arboretum of Châtillon sur Chalaronne, La Dombes for its ponds and ornithological park, and the many walks for the whole family. A deposit of €100.00 is required for our animal friends.

Ayant vendu notre maison et en attendant d'avoir la nouvelle, nous avons opté pour la location d'un gîte.
Nous avons été très bien reçu, propriétaire d'une gentillesse et toujours disponible.
Le gite ne manquait de rien.
Tous les équipements y sont pour passer un agréable séjour.
La literie dans ce gite est un vrai plus.

Gîte bien situé au calme, propriétaire sympathique. Ceci dit prestations pas à la hauteur du prix. Pas de couchage double, que des lits de 90. Gite pouvant accueillir 6 personnes mais un seul toilette (qui fuyait) et une seule salle de bains avec douche et double vasque. Dans celle-ci odeur désagréable de remontée des canalisations. De plus toutes les chambres sont à l étage alors la nuit pas pratique.

Miriammoerland Nice house in relaxing area
Good house for 6 persons, nice bedrooms on 1st floor, good beds. Big bathroom with separate toilet. Very good kitchen equipment, lots of pots and pans and oven, which we all used, big refrigerator. It would have been nice if there was translation in English in practical information in the house. Beatiful garden. While we were there it was very Hot, but there was only one fan in the house. We advised the landlady in absence of airconditioning to have a fan in every bedroom she thought that was a good plan. We brought our bicycles, there are many cyclepaths in the area and every morning we used the bicycles to go to the bakery, too far to walk. Supermarket also nearby. Nearest village Thoissey and saint didier sur chalarone. Very quiet villages, no tourists. Nearest bigger towns Bourg en Bresse and Macon. Further away, but very nice was Ain Gorges, where we rented a boat, beautiful area. All and all recommendation for People who want to de-stress.
