At an altitude of 1087 m, in the heart of nature, "Le Chalet Macé" is nestled in a small mountain between fir trees and meadows. Situated 2 km from the Plans d'Hotonnes ski resort (downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, etc.), it's the ideal place for families and friends to discover the Haut Valromey region and its winter and/or summer activities (hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, motorcycle riding, tree climbing, swimming, etc.). This former children's vacation camp offers a total of 11 rooms for 4 people, 2 rooms for 5 people each, and 2 rooms for 2 people, including one for the disabled. Sanitary blocks on the 1st and 2nd floors, each with 5 showers, 2 independent WCs, 6 washbasins including 1 children's washbasin, and storage space. A refectory is available on the ground floor of the group gîte, as well as a self-service kitchenette and a relaxation area with a fireplace. Breakfast is available for €6/person, and meals costing €19 can be booked in advance. The owner's professional kitchen can be made available to groups of 15 or more, for more than 1 night's stay, subject to certain conditions.
Complementary activities available: kayak trips on the Rhône and Ain rivers, supervised by a state-certified kayaker. Half-day or full-day introductory courses in whitewater (rafting and hydrospeed) in an artificial pool, and training courses in whitewater swimming (Hydrospeed).
