Nestled between the Forest and the Bec Valley, along the greenway, the former gatekeeper’s house has been beautifully renovated and welcomes you for a peaceful, relaxing getaway. The holiday cottage is truly charming and inviting, beautifully furnished and decorated in a contemporary style, and fully equipped. You’re right at the gateway to the superb village of Le Bec Hellouin, a “Cité de Caractère” recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Villages of France: colorful half-timbered houses, narrow streets lined with pretty gardens, a washhouse by the water, and of course the famous abbey and its Saint Nicolas Tower, whose gardens are a delight to stroll through.
For walks, you can choose from the Forest and its trails, the greenway leading to Neubourg and the Risle Valley, or the paths on the opposite side of the village that take you up into the hills. When you return, you can enjoy the outdoors over a meal or while relaxing in the lounge chairs: a real vacation!

ON THE GROUND FLOOR: A very well-equipped kitchen with a truly comfortable dining area. Right next to it is a cozy little living area with a corner sofa and an armchair, plus a smart TV. A hallway leading to the laundry area provides access to the backyard and the bathroom, which features a large shower and a toilet. Upstairs, there are two lovely bedrooms: the first has two single beds and leads to the double bedroom (160x200 bed), which offers a superb view of the village and Bec Hellouin Abbey. You’ll enjoy a front garden as well as a backyard with outdoor furniture for enjoying the fresh air, dining, or relaxing on the sun loungers; barbecue included. Approximately 150 m² of outdoor space, fully enclosed by fencing. For games: pétanque balls and Swedish skittles. On-site, the Grande Randonnée 224 long-distance hiking trail and a greenway run along the valley. An electric vehicle charging station is 800 meters away, and bike rentals are available 2 km away.
