A cocooning atmosphere for this charming, detached local stone house, close to the owners' home.
Tastefully restored, it will seduce you with its warm living space: on one side, a welcoming kitchen with dining table and wood-burning stove, and on the other, a beautifully decorated living room with several sitting areas. Outside, from the private south-facing terrace, you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. All this is bordered by a 1600 m² garden planted with flowers and trees, complete with swing, trampoline and shuffleboard. Looking for a breath of fresh air? Just 2.4 km away, the Vallée du Couesnon leisure park offers sporting adventures in the great outdoors (kayaking, rock-climbing, paddle-boarding, archery, orienteering), and 3 km away, the GR39 trail awaits you! Discover the Ville d'Art et d'Histoire de Fougères and visit its majestic medieval castle 21 km away, or stroll through the Haute-Bretagne botanical park 28 km away.

Pourquoi le gîte s'appelle-t-il "Chez Reine" ? C'est le prénom de l'ancienne propriétaire qui nous a chaleureusement accueilli en Bretagne. En acquérant cette maison, nous avons pu à nouveau réunir les 2 bâtiments de la Ferme de la Rouelle.

Freya Beautiful place to stay
Our stay was wonderful, the surrounding area was very lovely with gorgeous towns and villages. The local village bakery is very friendly with lovely fresh local bread. The welcome from the owners was great and the cheese board was very welcome. Lovely large enclosed garden for our dog to run around and for us to relax in the sunshine and watch the bats at night. I would recommend this stay and would also consider coming back.

Séjour reposant, offrant confort et sérénité.
L'accueil chaleureux de Florence et Michaël et leur présence discrète à proximité du gîte, permettent de répondre avec attention à nos besoins. Le plateau de fromage est une bonne idée, très appréciée. Le confort du gîte aménagé avec goût et la splendeur du jardin nous ravissent. En effet, les espaces extérieurs sont conçus pour offrir à la fois des zones mi ombragées pour la farniente, cosy pour la lecture, une vue reposante pour la méditation, un espace de jeux, sans oublier le petit verger pour le plaisir des fruits cueillis à maturité, au gré de nos envies.
