Come and get away from it all on the western tip of Finistère, in a wild and bucolic setting 27 km from Brest. You'll be able to recharge your batteries on the exceptional balcony of the Iroise Sea and the Ouessant rail. At night, you'll enjoy watching the lighthouse lights and the oven (opposite the house), as much as you will the permanent spectacle of the sea: green lagoon on certain days, wild and white with foam on others, furious in storms. The house is located 20 m from the beaches on the Gr34, "le chemin des douaniers", between the small port of Argenton, surrounded by the Vivier peninsula with its small coves, and the large white sandy beach of Penfoul, framed by rocks, giving a wild dimension to this surfing spot par excellence. Whether you're a hiker, a fisherman, a surfing enthusiast, a bodyboarder, a paddleboard fan, or just looking for some idleness with the family, you'll find what you're looking for at Argenton, in Landunvez.
We've fallen in love with this detached house, renovated in 2020, in a quiet hamlet behind the port. Surrounded by lush seaside landscaping, you can extend the garden by picnicking 20 m further on the fine sand to admire the sunsets, and walk to the bakery, mini-market and restaurants.
On the ground floor, a bright living room with a cosy lounge, a convivial dining area with a wood-burning stove and a well-equipped kitchenette, and a shower room with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs, a luminous 20m2 bedroom with a 200*160 bed, a study area and a TV that can be separated; a second 10m2 bedroom with a 140*200 bed. A small relaxation area includes a 90*190 bed. Plus, market lovers, Saturday in St Renan, summer Wednesdays on the port. Departure for the islands of Molène and Ouessant. Oceanopolis, la pointe St Mathieu, le fort de Bertheaume.

Ce Penty peut accueillir 4 personnes; couple avec enfants ( chaque enfant pourra avoir son espace personnel); deux couples ( 2 grands couchages); possibilité de petit lit et chaise haute.
Vous aurez la possibilité d'entreposer vos valises et affaires de loisirs dans un espace garage de 12m2, où se trouve le coin laverie , congélateur. Vous y trouverez aussi combinaison , body , surf, paddle gonflabe ( si respect du matériel par chacun), vélo, seau de plage , etc... Nous nous dégageons de toute responsabilité avec ce matériel de loisirs en bon état.
Vous trouverez aussi un petit abri pour bois , poubelle et matériel de jardin.

Loved the property. Great beaches near by. Karine was a great host and went the dwelling thoroughly to make us welcome. Kitchen was small but functionable. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Merci à Karine pour son accueil et toutes les bonnes adresses, lieux à visiter et restaurants à découvrir sans oublier le far breton à notre arrivée. Le Penty est bien aménagé situé à 20m de la plage et à 10m de la route principale où se trouvent les commerces et restaurants. L'endroit est magnifique... les plages,les paysages et surtout la route touristique qui longe la mer.

Rien à voir avec une location classique, au Penty on se sent chez soi ... à tel point qu'il va être difficile de ne pas y retourner ... :)
La région est magnifique.
L'emplacement du Penty est parfait pour initier un grand nombre de promenades, activités sportives, ...
Les équipements sur places nous permettent de voyager léger.
Le jardin, même s'il n'est pas immense a été optimisé et offre plusieurs espaces selon que l'on veuille prendre ses repas, se détendre, prendre l'apéro, bouquiner, faire la sieste, ...
La sympathie de Karine est fort agréable.
A vous d'y aller ... mais laissez-nous le Penty de libres quelques semaines pour que nous puissions nous y rendre à nouveau !- Cleanliness

Accueil de la propriétaire teinté de dynamisme et de passion de sa part pour sa région.
Petites attentions à notre arrivée (cidre et far breton).
Le gîte est conforme à la description et était propre.
Sa proximité par rapport à la plage et aux points d’intérêt est avantageuse car il y a de quoi s’occuper sans devoir prendre la voiture.
