Douarnenez is a multi-faceted city that will appeal to everyone, whether you're a fan of water sports, Hiking, Sea outings or Fishing, but also of cultural and artistic discoveries, sea bathing or thalassotherapy centers, relaxation and rest... The colorful facades of this renowned former sardine port will charm you from the moment you arrive. You'll lose yourself in the charming little lanes and alleys, strolling around the market halls, which come alive every morning and are surrounded by charming boutiques, galleries and artisans' workshops. Your strolls will take you to the lively port of Le Rosmeur or Port Rhu, from where you can take the footbridge to Tréboul, a charming district with a lively Market, beautiful beaches and other pretty lanes to discover. At low tide, you can walk to Ile Tristan, or take a boat to the island and follow a guide from the Tourist Office.
A panoramic view over the whole of Douarnenez Bay awaits you, and you'll be enchanted by its exotic garden! You also won't want to miss a trip to the Plomarc'h nature reserve, a 20-hectare nature trail that will delight young and old alike. Of course, you'll also want to try the Douarnenez specialty, the famous kouign amann.

First floor: kitchen opening onto living room with wood-burning stove, wc. 1st floor: bedroom with 1 x 140x200 bed, bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, bathroom with bath and double washbasin, wc. 2nd floor: bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190), bathroom with toilet. Outside, the south-east-facing terrace features garden furniture and barbecue.
In winter, the heating supplement of max. 10€/day will be revalued downwards in the event of lower consumption.

Sue A lovely week in a lovely property
A lovely refurbished house, well-equipped and comfortable. Close to the plage de Dames, where we went paddling, and handy for Port Rhu with it's cafes and restaurants, as well as the footbridge to Treboul and further along the coast. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and both spoke English. We believe we are the first Brits to stay there, and would recommend it to others who are looking for a good sized property close to the sea. It is a couple of hours from the Roscoff Ferry terminal.

Un très grand merci à vous pour votre avis si élogieux! Nous sommes très contents que vous vous soyez senties bien dans la maison et que la découverte de Douarnenez et de ses environs vous ait plu. C'est vrai que la maison est bien située ce qui permet de passer des vacances en oubliant un peu la voiture! We hope to see you again one day!

Marie Jolie maison très bien située
Très jolie maison, décorée avec goût et parfaitement située pour se déplacer à pieds : courses, balades nombreuses à la découverte de la ville. Rien ne manque ; les chambres sont superbes, on y dort très bien.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants (merci pour le cadeau gourmand de bienvenue !) ; on se sent bien tout de suite !
Impossible de tout voir dans cette extrémité de la Cornouaille en une seule semaine ; il faudra que nous revenions !

Oliver without Twist Schöne Woche/enjoyable week/semaine sympa
Älteres Haus mit Charakter, hohen Decken, neu renoviert, liebevolle Einrichtung. Ideale gelegen um Douarnenez zu erkunden. Leider kein privater Parkplatz, aber ein Parkplatz in der Straße war immer einer frei.
Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Céline und Yvan sind herzliche und sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeber! Kommunikation in drei Sprachen funktioniert.
Pluspunkt für uns: An den Schreibtischen lässt sich problemlos mit dem Laptop arbeiten. Würden es wieder mieten.Lovely old house with character, high ceilings, renovated and caringly detailed decorated. The location invites your to explore Douarnenez. No private parking, but we never had trouble finding a parking spot right next.
Great reception, Céline and Yvan are hearty and very helpful hosts! Communication in three languages works. Plus for us: The desks allow working with a Laptop. Would book again.Maison de caractère, hauts plafonds, récemment rénovée, avec un mobilier soigné. Idéalement situé pour découvrir Douarnenez. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas de place de parking privée, mais il y avait toujours une place de parking gratuite dans la rue.
Accueil très sympa, Céline et Yvan sont des hôtes chaleureux et très serviables! La communication fonctionne en trois langues. Le plus pour nous : vous pouvez facilement travailler avec un ordinateur portable aux bureaux. Je réserverais à nouveau.- Cleanliness

Großartige Gastgeber, ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit allem, was man braucht und eine tolle Lage. Wenige Minuten zum Strand und kurze Wege in die lebendige Innenstadt mit allen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Famille Jones Très bon séjour
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans la maison de Cécile et Yvan. La maison est très agréable et très confortable. Elle était parfaitement propre et équipée. Les chambres sont magnifiques et spacieuses. L’accueil était parfait et les propriétaires sont charmants. La proximité de la plage des dames est un plus!
