Erquy is also home to Brittany's leading scallop fishing port, ten golden sandy beaches, turquoise coves, the GR34 customs path for hikers, the EV4 Vélomaritime for cyclists, and the blue lakes, hidden treasures of the old quarries less than a kilometer away. Every three years, the "Fête de la Coquille Saint-Jacques" (scallop festival) brings the port to life, with tastings, entertainment and conviviality guaranteed.
