Christine et Bernard Appartement très bien placé
Appartement très bien placé avec très belle vue sur le port des Minimes de la Rochelle. Très bon accueil du propriétaire qui nous a donné des suggestions de visites. Boulangerie en bas de l'immeuble, bus et bus de mer très proches de l'immeuble également pour éviter de prendre la voiture. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Patrique La Rochelle, for a visit to the Charente Maritime
La Rochelle, ideally located for a visit of the Charente Maritime (Ile de Ré, Ile de Oléron, Rochefort, Marais Poitevin, and la Rochelle itself!). The appartment has an overview of the largest marina in the world and the surrounding area. Public transport is very good: bus 4 to the center (stop at the back of the building), the waterbus (at the opposite of the building) to the old port of La Rochelle are giving a quick, frequent and comprehensive connection to the city. Also public bikes can be used (we did not :-). Monsieur Blot is a very friendly owner and welcomer. Very very important: you stay on top of a boulangerie!! Youhou,in France that's marvellous! At the opposite there are some good restaurants (Delphin ao). At the "back", with a view on the beach there are some nice, cosy, bars with good beer (and other tasty beverages). The superette has received bad comments in earlier publications, but that is not to our experience. Of course it will cost a bit more, but why not go to the real supermarket then, 5 min driving?
