In einem ehemaligen Bauernhaus im Herzen eines sehr ruhigen Weindorfes bietet Ihnen dieses kleine Haus vom Typ Citybreak den nötigen Komfort, um eine angenehme Zeit zu verbringen. Sie werden die Nähe zu Reims (18 km), Épernay (25 km) und Châlons-en-Champagne (34 km) zu schätzen wissen.
Es gibt zahlreiche Wanderwege über Felder, Kopfsteinpflaster und Pfade.

Haus mit einer Kapazität für 2 Personen und einer Gesamtfläche von 42m². Parkplatz in der Straße gegenüber dem Haus. Unabhängiger Eingang. Erdgeschoss: Eingang in eine Halle mit Waschbecken, links ein Badezimmer mit Jet-Dusche und WC. Auf der rechten Seite Wohnzimmer mit ausgestatteter Küche (Geschirrspüler, Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Induktionskochplatten, Backofen). Etage: 1 Schlafzimmer mit 1 Bett 140x190, Fernseher.
Bed linen and towels provided. Beds made on arrival.
Heating included not (10 € pro Tag) .
Gemeinsamer Hof mit privaten Gartenmöbeln.

    Nice,quiet location but very basic, little comfort

    Nice and quiet location and clean house, but because of the lack of comfort and atmosphere in the house, I would not recommend this "petit gite". Especially with warm weather. Outside was too hot (36 degrees), inside was smelly and no place to sit...

    At the ground floor, there is a (subtle, but penetrating) smell of fertilizer / menure when the windows are closed (which we had to close during this very hot weekend).
    Outside there is a small table and metal chairs, on a bit of a wobbly wooden terrace, but there is quite a gasoline smell from the machines in the shed.
    In the hallway there is an extra counter/kitchen (not sure why), but there is no living room, no place to sit (couch, comfortable chairs). Only a kitchen bar with stools.
    The bedroom upstairs is nice, but gets veeery hot with warm weather. Even when leaving the window and door open at night. There is no ventilator.
    The shower (no ventilation or window that opens) works but leaks, and there is no shower gel or a board to place your shampoo etc.
    The kitchen is well equipped in terms of equipment and cutlery, but there is no salt/pepper/oil, coffee or tea. There are small tasting glasses for champaign, but no tulip glasses.
    The front door is a bit difficult but can be locked when pushing the door handle upwards.
    The host uses a key box which allows for a flexible check-in time.

    We are sorry that the accommodation did not fully meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points.

    This is a simple "deux épis" gîte, exactly as described in the listing and shown in the photos. The facilities and layout are clearly presented before booking and it is not intended to be luxury accommodation.

    The exceptional heatwave during your stay was unfortunately beyond the owners' control. They even tried to find a fan in several shops, but none were available. The smell of fertiliser also comes from the surrounding fields, as this is a rural and agricultural area.

    Regarding the smell of petrol, the owner confirmed that there are no fuel cans or tools stored in the garage, only vehicles.

    No shower leak was noticed before or after your stay, but the owner will check this point carefully. The owner also apologises for the missing salt, pepper and oil and will ensure these are available for future guests.

    The small champagne glasses are traditional local tasting glasses called "blidas", widely used in the Marne region. Finally, the front door is known to be sensitive to extreme temperatures.

    In summary, the owner will address the few practical issues mentioned, while other aspects are unfortunately part of exceptional weather conditions or rural life and cannot be controlled.

    Séjour reposant à Mailly

    Très bon séjour. Il coïncidait avec l’élevage des poussins d’hirondelles de fenêtre installées dans la cour. Et elles ont pris leur envol le matin de notre départ.

    Séjour en Champagne

    Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Cuisine bien équipée, bonne literie.

    Seul bémol, il manque un petit canapé dans le logement.

    Séjour au milieu des vignes

    Nous cherchions un petit coin tranquille pour nous reposer, en fin de journée, à un tarif abordable.
    Ce gîte est fait pour ça. Il est équipé de l'essentiel pour y passer une chouette semaine.
    C'est un bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
