Die Choisille durchwaten, auf dem Weg nach Santiago de Compostela, St-Martin-de-Tours und Mont-St-Michel, die stolze Erscheinung der massiven und nicht weniger eleganten römischen Brücke betrachten, in dieser alten Mühle übernachten, deren Ursprünge bis ins 10. Jahrhundert zurückgehen, und genießen Sie eine außergewöhnliche Umgebung, nur eine Viertelstunde vom historischen Zentrum von Tours entfernt, das ist das reichhaltige Programm, das Sie erwartet.Ihr Holiday cottage nimmt ein Ende dieses atypischen Ortes ein und bietet großzügige Räume, hohen Komfort und ein herrliches Schwimmbad, das für Sie reserviert ist. Die Spaziergänge auf dem großen Grundstück sind ein wahres Eintauchen in ein Naturschutzgebiet, in dem Vogelgezwitscher, der Duft unzähliger Pflanzenarten und das Rauschen des Wassers eine Einladung zum Glücklichsein sind.Die größten Schlösser sind leicht zu erreichen: Chenonceaux, Amboise, Chambord...

Anna A haven of tranquility
We arrived after a two day journey from Liverpool U.K. to a very warm welcome from Gerard and Caroline. They showed us round the gite, and gave us a lovely gift of local wine and preserves. There was ice cold water in the fridge. Nothing was too much for them, from giving invaluable local advice to putting a step in the pool for me (I’m disabled). They even picked us up from a restaurant one evening as I couldn’t manage to walk both ways. They are such thoughtful, kind people.
The gite is well equipped and comfortable, we didn’t use the huge lounge as we spent our time outside but it must be fabulous for cooler seasons. The outside space is incredible-a wonderful swimming pool, a large shaded seating area which is part of an old outbuilding, sun loungers and a lovely dining set. The garden is vast, with woodland, a paddock and of course the river running through. Gerard showed us the old mill wheel under the house. This is a fascinating historical house that has been converted into a truly magical home- not just for our wonderful hosts but for any of their guests.
Finally a special mention for Stella and Vermeil, the adorable, friendly golden retrievers of the house! We will return- Sauberkeit

Andrew and Jane Fantastic holiday
We are a family of 8 and had a lovely holiday. The temperature was in the mid 30’s every day so it was fantastic that we were able to use the swimming pool. The gîte was great, and accommodated us all with loads of space and very comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome by Caroline and Gérard who were the perfect hosts. All of us said it was fantastic and we would happily return.

Kikiscrap Réveillon au moulin
Accueillis très chaleureusement et généreusement. Le gîte très spacieux, tout confort et très bien décoré nous a permis de passer un très agréable réveillon de Noël en famille. Dans la grande cuisine bien équipée nous avons préparé tous nos repas. Le lieu est particulièrement calme et relaxant avec ses petits cours d'eau qui entourent la maison, féerique sous la neige. Une très bonne adresse à proximité de Tours et des châteaux.
