Lovely and cosy little accomodation for 2 persons, in a tower listed as a historic momument. Ground-floor: living - fitted kitchen (fireplace, etc.). It is an authentic stone spiral staircase that leads upstairs. 1st floor: sitting (fireplace, sofa, etc.). 2nd floor: bedroom (double bed 180x200 cm), shower-room with WC. WIFI connection. Electric heating (extra charge). Private ground of 3000 m². This accomodation is not suitable for young children due to the staircase and the small, non-secured river bordering the property. The owners' swimming-pool, located 500 meters away, is at your disposal and shared with them. Included in price: bed linens and towels. You dream of a cosy holiday (with a shared heated swimming pool) and of conquering historic Touraine with its famous Loire Châteaux, with such an important presence in the region... but you probably cannot imagine such a lovely and authentic building as a holiday destination. This tower is a truly unique gîte in Touraine, as much for its architecture radiating history as for its exceptional countryside setting in the heart of the Touraine landscape and the river flowing past its doorstep. This 15th century building is listed as a Historic Monument in the French Supplementary Historic Monument List and long ago was the concierge of Montgoger Château, of which only remains are left today.
