Ground floor: living room-lounge (sofa, Hifi stereo, WIFI, etc.), equipped kitchen, 1st bedroom (1 double bed), 2nd bedroom (1 double bed), shower room, toilet. First floor: 2nd bedroom (2 single beds), toilet. Electric heating (extra charge according to meter). 150 m² grounds, 20 m² courtyard, covered shelter. Year-round rental on site. There are 2 lakes nearby with beaches, for swimming with family or for fishing: Rillé (8km away) and Hommes (12km away). A stone's throw away from Touraine, you'll be staying on Anjou soil, a terroir, a heritage and a history which has so many similarities with the neighbouring Touraine region! These two adjacent regions actually have common assets linked to the proximity of their territories, to their often-linked history, which has been so clearly marked by the History of France. Your gite is therefore not far from the great Loire Châteaux, including Langeais, Villandry, Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau and Saumur, as well as many others that you'll have the time to discover yourselves when you get here! The fertile soils and the ideal climate of these regions have encouraged the development of a huge wine-growing area, for which the international reputation gives pride to the surrounding vineyards. You'll taste these vintage wines and visit the freestone cellars in Bourgueil (20 mins), Saumur (25 km) or even St-Nicolas-de Bourgueil and Chinon.
