Charming 18th-century residence ideally located in the center of the village of Saulges. You'll have all the space you need to spend some very intimate moments, as well as those around a large table. You'll be won over by the careful decoration and the variety of atmospheres. You'll move from cosy spaces to the large dining room for convivial meals. The gîte is ideal for getting together with friends or family, with its 4 bedrooms (1 bdrm with a 140cm bed; 1 bdrm with a 160cm bed; 2 bdrms with 2 90cm beds), 2 shower rooms, a summer lounge and a winter lounge...there's plenty to get lost in! For your leisure, you'll be delighted by the hiking trails that lead to the prehistoric caves of Saulges, an exceptional site classified Natura 2000. The Musée de la Préhistoire (Prehistory Museum) boasts a collection showcased in a very modern way, and activities are programmed for all ages. You can also visit the caves, climb the rock faces or get lost in the boxwoods.... To complete the offer, there are two restaurants, one family-run and one gourmet, renowned in the region for their warm welcome and the quality of their cuisine. Vincent, the young owner, knows the area inside out and will tell you all about its history. The small rural heritage is extraordinary in Saulges.... This gîte is not suitable for business stays.

The commune of Saulges also offers a group gîte "Gîte du Val d'Erve" for 28 people, at the far end of the village. This gîte can be a complement to the group gîte (H53P010953, classified Gîtes de France) for those seeking greater comfort.
