La Grotte Rouge

This gite, entirely dug into the cliff, is located in a quiet hamlet. The troglodyte village of Louresse Rochemenier, the Doué la Fontaine Biopark and the Milly national forest are just 4km away, not to mention the banks of the Loire at 10km. The gîte features a fully-equipped kitchen (filter and pod coffee makers). The kitchen leads to the first bedroom, with a 140cm bed and two 90cm beds. The high-quality shower room, entirely carved out of the rock, is accessed via a corridor that also serves the toilet and a laundry area (access to the shower room is via Japanese panels). Down a rock-cut corridor, you reach the living room, half a level below the other rooms. This room includes a dining area, a small play and relaxation area for the children, and a living room with TV. In this room is the entrance to the master bedroom with 160cm bed (no window to the outside in this room, but a skylight with integrated vmc). This room is separated from the living room by a glass and wood wall. The outdoor spaces are ideal for relaxing: a courtyard with terrace and garden furniture in front of the gîte, and a raised area above the gîte with fruit trees and green spaces overlooking the property. From the courtyard, too, you can explore the troglodyte cellars, which have remained in their original state. 2 parking spaces on gated property. Public parking also available 20 meters away. WIFI internet connection Included in the price: electricity and heating. Continuous air/water heat pump heating ensures constant air circulation and prevents humidity. VMC installed in all rooms.
