Reunion Island
Reunion Island is a volcanic island. There are tropical forests, cirques and volcanoes to discover, including Piton de La Fournaise, accessible and still active, as well as its wild coast, beaches and coral reefs. Discovery, relaxation or sport (hiking, trail running, diving, paragliding, climbing, canyoning and lots more) … everything is there for the Ultimate Experience!
A volcanic island
Reunion Island, a volcanic island created by Piton des Neiges, which rises to 3071 m, and Piton de la Fournaise, still active, is a land where sea and mountains merge for your visual pleasure! It’s also a destination where more than a third of the island is still covered with forests and lush vegetation, with its multiple orchids and wild flowers, its chameleons and diversity of sea and land birds.
Added to this are the colours and flavours of Reunion’s cuisine, rich in the mixture of cultures that characterise the island. And music is part of Reunion’s soul, the result of an intermingling with African influences.
By staying on Reunion Island in one of our Gites de France establishments, you’ll be at the heart of all this diversity that your hosts will delight in sharing with you!
Reunion, the Ultimate Experience!!! The diversity of its landscapes, cultures, fruit and vegetables, its unique cuisine and music, not to mention the warm welcome from its inhabitants, make this rock in the Indian Ocean unique.
