Val d'Assou, Lou Paousadou

A small hamlet in the heart of the Val d'Assou, surrounded by meadows, fields and woods, in the Monts d'Alban, at 600m altitude (source of the Assou)

Between Albigeois and Monts de Lacaune, on the Albi-Millau axis. You can take a leisurely stroll, on foot or by bike, take shelter in the shade of century-old chestnut trees, refresh yourself on the shores of the pretty lake in the hollow of a valley, or fish. Nearby, the village of Alban offers all shops and services.

To discover: the Monts d'Alban, the Tarn valley (Ambialet peninsula) or the south Aveyron (Millau viaduct, Roquefort). Just 30 minutes away, the Episcopal City of Albi is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Independent gite in the hamlet of La Barraque. Two covered terraces, one of which houses a private spa with unlimited access, garden and large spaces around the cottage. Possibility of swimming in the lake (private, unattended swimming) + pedal boat available. Picnic table on the dike, for lunch by the water. 4km hiking trail in the property.

- On the 1st floor: landing with sofa bz, two bedrooms (double beds 140x190), bathroom, toilet. This level overlooks the terrace and the garden on the north side.

- On the second floor, mezzanine under crawlers, fitted in the attic (low ceiling height), with two single beds (90x190) and a double bed (140x190) for children.

At your disposal: a real French billiard room, fully equipped, a shop of local products, 2 bicycles with electric assistance available to you free of charge, fishing equipment, table tennis, pedalo...
