From hills to valleys


Lesses is a traditional farming hamlet between the Castres basin and the Pays de Cocagne. The owners, who also live here, have converted the building into a rural gîte. The surrounding countryside is very relaxing, as you wander from valley to hill, mixing small woods, fields of wheat and sunflowers.


You are situated between the villages of Lautrec and Puylaurens. Lautec, a medieval town built at the foot of a rocky outcrop, is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Birthplace of the Toulouse Lautrec family, painters, it is also a rural area famous for its production of certified pink garlic. Its windmill still turns to produce flour. Numerous festivities punctuate the summer: the bread festival, the pink garlic festival... invite you to celebrate local flavours and crafts. 40 minutes away, visit Albi and its Episcopal city, a unesco World Heritage site, with its red, pink and ochre brick buildings. Just 25 minutes away are the granite mountains of Sidobre and, further south, the Black Mountains with their bewitching forests.




**THE GÎTE**


Detached house, close to the owners' home, with separate living areas. Ground floor: large kitchen, small sitting room, shower room, wc. The kitchen opens onto a terrace with garden furniture, parasol and swing. The wooded grounds open out onto uninterrupted views of the countryside. Nearby, the bowling green invites you to get together.


Upstairs: 3 bedrooms, a shower room with wc.

- a children's bedroom with 3 single beds (90 x 190 cm).


 



Access to the gîte is via a private road. There is a separate car park next to the entrance to the house.

Baby equipment. Electric heating on the ground floor and reversible air conditioning upstairs. Wood-burning stove in the kitchen (wood provided).
Sheets can be hired as an optional extra;
