The Epic of the Carmaux Mine
Here at Cap Découverte, there is something for everyone and for all ages! For history lovers, relive the epic of the mine and share the lives of miners by visiting the very successful Musée de la Mine de Cagnac.
At 10 minutes from Albi, venture into the old open-pit coal mine of Carmaux converted into an unusual multi-leisure base. The name of this unique site in Europe: Cap Découverte. House of Music, playful and sporting activities are offered in this spectacular natural amphitheatre of 1300 meters in diameter and 230 meters in depth entirely dedicated to leisure! No limit for all thrill seekers.
Edith and Raymond have built in Cap de Vère two rural cottages, adjoining their dwelling but not opposite.
The garden is enclosed, with garden furniture and barbecue, and a large pool to share.
Ground floor: living room with open kitchen, TV lounge area. Upstairs: two bedrooms, sitting area on the landing (sofa bed), bathroom with toilet. Baby equipment. Electric heating. Presence of animals on site.
The pool opening period is from June to September.

4.3/5Les propriétaires du gîtes sont très gentils et respectueux de notre espace, la piscine est à partager avec un gîte et eux même mais nous n'avons eu personnes en meme temps que nous lorsque l'on y été, le gîte est confortable dans l'ensemble, et il y a tout ce qu'il faut afin de cuisiner ou faire des machines. Piscine grande et entretenue, attention cependant les petits enfants n'ont pas pieds. Très bon séjour en tout cas !
