Situated 2km from the medieval village of PENNE du Tarn, you will be close to all holiday activities.
This detached stone house near the owners is steeped in family history and dates from the end of the 19th century. It is located in a secluded hamlet perched on a hill, in the heart of the Aveyron gorges and a stone's throw from the Grésigne national forest.

** Le GITE **

Detached 90m² house located in a hamlet of around ten houses.

Access to the gîte via ten or so steps, located on the first floor above the cellar.

- Living room: large 35 m² living room with dining area facing the working fireplace. Open-plan kitchen equipped with gas hob, dishwasher, combined microwave oven, filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster and fridge with freezer compartment.
- Sitting room adjoining the living room with sofa, armchair, TV and DVD player
- Bathroom with shower, wc and washbasin
- Bedroom 1: 140x190cm bed and 2 single beds in a 90x200cm bunk bed
- Bedroom 2: 140x190cm bed and cot

Outside, there's plenty of green space for you to roam around the hamlet, just like at home. Adjacent to the gîte is a woodland table where you can enjoy grilled meats prepared on the stone barbecue opposite.

A laundry room below the gîte is equipped with a private washing machine, an ironing board and iron, and a drying rack.


Tourist attractions :

The fortress of Penne is just 3km from the gîte, or a 40-minute walk for the more adventurous. All you have to do is pack a picnic lunch in your rucksack and set off for a day in the countryside, forgetting about your car.
For walkers: signposted paths just 700m from the gîte.

In the village of Penne, you'll find a grocery shop, bars, restaurant...
Supermarkets and shops in Caussade, Négrepelisse and Montauban. Numerous open-air markets throughout the week, not forgetting Saint Antonin Noble Val and its famous Sunday market!

If you want to go further afield (but not too far), Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and Cordes-sur-Ciel are just a 30-minute drive from your gîte. The same applies to Gaillac, Puycelsi and Castelnau-de-Montmiral. Alternatively, beautiful Montauban is 40 minutes away.

And don't forget Bruniquel, Puycelsi, Montricoux, Najac, Beaulieu Abbey, Saint Cirq Lapopie...
