It is located, at an altitude of 500 m, on the road going up from Albi towards the Monts de Lacaune. This mid-mountain region, very green and wooded, is crisscrossed with hiking trails and mountain biking including GR 36 (3km). The loop of the Arifat waterfalls, with its 3 «bouillous», is part of the local curiosities, the restaurant "des sources d'Arifat" is on the site (check time and opening period).

In Castelroc, 5 km from Arifat, there is a medieval site, where courses are organized, visits around medieval themes. Specific activities for children are offered in summer.

For fishing enthusiasts, streams and rivers are classified in 1st category. At 5 km it is possible to fish for trout on Lake Broussonnié, (fishing card required).

In the village of St-Pierre-de-trivisy you will find all the amenities: a well-stocked grocery store and supermarket, a garage and gas pumps, a restaurant-library and a doctor.
The leisure base equipped with a summer swimming pool with slides, a private Leisure and Wellness area (hammam, sauna, spa, body treatments) a private gym, a mini-golf, sports courts (tennis, football, petanque), a tree-climbing in the forest next door.

Renovated in 2020-2021, this small cottage of 45 m², quiet, is ideal for a couple with children. It is attached to the owner’s house.

Three steps to access it, on a raised ground floor, including a living room with integrated kitchenette and new, a sofa, two bedrooms (a double bed in 140 and two single beds in 90), a bathroom, a toilet. Electric heating.

Land not enclosed, terrace, possibility of meals outside, garden furniture, barbecue.

4G connection, in the cottage and outside.

For babies you can ask the owner, before your stay, the free provision of an umbrella bed with extra mattress, a bathtub, a raised chair, and a pot.

Domestic animals, calm and obedient, can be accepted only with the prior agreement of the owner. Cats are present on the estate.
