The Great House in the Tarn in Mazamet, 5 minutes from the city center, at the foot of the Black Mountain

Mazamtin mansion of the 19th century of 3 floors, it reveals a terrace, a quiet garden and a pool hidden from the looks of the street. All our rooms are on the 2nd floor and measure at least 20 m² (excluding shower room), each has its original parquet floor, a marble fireplace, a queen-size bed, and all the accessories you expect from a quality accommodation.


The Grande Maison de Mazamet is ideally located 45 minutes from Albi and Carcassonne, 20 minutes from Castres and its airport, you have access to the vineyards of Tarn, Aude and Herault for a dozen AOPs.
For lovers of walking, you can leave the house and go to Hautpoul, by taking the famous Himalayan footbridge of Mazamet, spanning and overlooking the valley of more than 70 meters! Nestled at the foot of the Montagne Noire, Mazamet, beyond the city, is a multitude of hiking trails, lakes, rivers, deep forests, in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park.
If you want to expand your visit, you are 3 hours by car from Barcelona, Provence or Bordeaux.

 We offer a wide range of fresh products: seasonal fruit, jams and homemade cupcakes, as well as cheese and cold cuts. Not forgetting the traditional chocolatine (chocolate bread in the southwest), croissants, baguettes, all cooked the same morning.
 The breakfast rate is included in the room rate.

 We offer different options for your meals, from the picnic basket (you are on holiday, forget the logistics), to gourmet sandwiches by the pool, or evening aperitif platter made up of the best specialties of the region.
